So let's dig into the details:

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
You must spend 50 PV per month (roughly $50). PV = Point Value. For most of the Young Living Essential Oils, Supplements and other consumables $1=1PV. For other Young Living products, the PV may be a bit less (Diffusers etc.) You can find the PV value listed next to the wholesale price of each product in your Virtual Office and also in your Product Guide that came with your Starter Kit.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER EVERY MONTH OR DO I HAVE TO ORDER THE SAME THING?

You can change the products in your Essential Rewards cart each month and you can even change the shipping day as needed. It’s a great way to keep an ongoing checklist. When you run out of something or think of an oil/product you need... just add to your cart and you’ll be set.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE ESSENTIAL REWARDS PROGRAM?

POINTS!!!! For every month you’re enrolled in ER you earn points to redeem for FREE Young Living products (ER Points)! Months 1-3 it’s 10% back in points, months 4-24 it’s 20% and month 25+ it’s 25%. IN ADDITION, you’ll ALSO be sent a gift in Months 3, 6 and 9 as well as a special Oil blend created by Gary Young called “Loyalty” on month 12! And each year thereafter too. EXAMPLE: If you’re new to ER and spend 100PV you’ll get 10PV. This adds up quickly – imagine how many products you can get for FREE after a year on this program. It is far better to spread your orders each month to achieve the 50PV minimum for Essential Rewards than to place a few big orders every few months and earn nothing. Plus you get reduced rates on shipping and flat-rate shipping up to 5 lbs.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY POINTS I HAVE ACCUMULATED?
After signing in, click the “Essential Rewards” option in your Menu. Click “Rewards Points” and your total will be listed there as well as other pertinent info. You can also call Young Living 1-800-371-3515 or use their live chat feature.

HOW CAN I REDEEM MY ER POINTS?
After signing in, click the “Essential Rewards” option in your Menu. Click “Reward Points” in the submenu. Click “Shop to Redeem Point Now” on your screen and have at it. Fill your cart, at checkout, there will be a field to apply ER Points. You can also call Young Living or use the live chat feature if you’d rather. Most products are redeemable with points. 

IS THERE A MAX AS TO HOW MANY POINTS I CAN REDEEM?
Yes, you may use up to 350 points at one time and no more than 350 points per month.

IS THERE A MAX ON HOW MANY I CAN EARN ON MY ORDER OR IN TOTAL OVER A LIFETIME?
No

WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL AT ANY POINT
You can cancel at any time. If you do decide to cancel, please don’t do so before redeeming your points first! If you cancel before you redeem your points, you will lose what you have accumulated.

IS THIS PROGRAM REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE A YOUNG LIVING WHOLESALE MEMBER?
No! It’s just a fantastic option for those wanting cheaper shipping and points toward free oils and product.

IS THIS PROGRAM REQUIRED TO EARN COMMISSION CHECKS FROM YOUNG LIVING
No! It’s an optional program. The only thing required to earn commission checks from the people you share Young Living with is to spend 100PV in that commission period. Think about it...if you’re spending 100PV to earn commissions then it just makes sense to earn 10-25% back to redeem for free oils right?

HOW DO I ENROLL IN ESSENTIAL REWARDS?
After signing in, click the “Essential Rewards” tab in your left-hand menu. You will be walked through the process from there. WHAT IS PV ASSISTANT?

PV assistant is basically a backup cart in the event that an item goes out of stock and your monthly ER order drops below 50 PV. If your order processes below 50 PV for the month, you will start back at month 1, earning 10% back.  

 

You can set your PV assistant up to keep your order above whatever number you choose (at 50 PV or above). For instance, if you know you're going to spend 300 PV every month on your ER order because you want the points and all of the freebies that come with a 300 PV order, set your PV assistant for 300. If you are receiving a paycheck from YL because you have shared with others, set your PV assistant to 100 PV to be able to get paid.

Also, YL will select the items that appear FIRST on your list. So I recommend choosing less expensive items first to list on the PV Assistant! YL has MANY items under $15!
PV Assistant will SAVE YO BOOTY if something goes out of stock at the last minute. It's a lifesaver! Use it. Love it!  Here is a great video on how to set this up!
